Warm or chilled? It's the first question we ask when you order our World Famous Lobster Roll, and the one people love to argue about. Here's how each one is made, how they taste and which one to try first.
Warm with butter
Our warm lobster roll is Maine lobster tossed in melted butter with chives and a pinch of salt, piled into a toasted brioche roll. It's rich, simple and all about the lobster. Fans call it the Connecticut style.
Order it if: you want comfort food, it's a cool day, or it's your first time and you want the classic.
Chilled with mayo
Our chilled lobster roll is Maine lobster dressed with mayonnaise and chives, on the same toasted brioche. It's cool, creamy and bright, the Maine style that's built for a hot day at the beach.
Order it if: it's sunny out, you're eating on the sand, or you like a lobster salad.
