Whether you're planning a team dinner for 12 or a company party for 100, here's how to celebrate with us this season, at our restaurants or yours.
Why a seafood holiday party
A raw bar gets people out of their seats and talking. Oysters on ice, chilled shrimp and a seafood tower make the room feel like a celebration before anyone gives a toast. Add lobster rolls and a few crowd-pleasers, like our classic burger and Caesar salad, and everyone at the table is covered.
Group dinners and partial buyouts
Prefer to celebrate with us? Every one of our restaurants can host a partial buyout for your group, with room for 100+ guests depending on the location. Email events@broadstreetoyster.com with your date and group size and we'll find the right fit.
- Malibu: our original restaurant, opened in 2019 at 23359 Pacific Coast Highway, overlooking Malibu Lagoon.
- Huntington Beach Pier: right on the pier at 1 Main Street, with craft cocktails and sunsets over the water.
- Santa Barbara: on State Street and open late, so the party doesn't have to end early.
- Grand Central Market: our downtown LA counter at 317 South Broadway, a fun stop for a casual team lunch or an after-work oyster run.
Raw bar catering for office and home parties
Can't get everyone to the beach? We'll bring the beach to you. Our catering packages are built for holiday parties at the office or at home:
- Small party package (up to 6 guests): deconstructed lobster rolls (warm with butter or chilled with mayo), Old Bay potato chips, wild-caught jumbo shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad and a dozen oysters on the half shell.
- Large party package (up to 10 guests): the same spread, sized for a bigger crew.
- Raw bar add-ons: extra dozens of oysters, shrimp cocktail, caviar service and our seafood tower, the chef's selection of treasures from the deep.
- Drinks: wine by the bottle, beer by the case, plus michelada and Bloody Mary kits.
We cater just about anywhere. Tell us your location, guest count and budget, and we'll build the right package. Want the full raw bar experience? Our shuckers can come to your event and shuck oysters fresh for your guests.
Holiday party menu ideas
Not sure where to start? These are the dishes guests talk about afterward:
- A raw bar reception: oysters with lemon and mignonette, shrimp cocktail and a seafood tower as the centerpiece.
- World Famous Lobster Rolls: served warm with butter or chilled with mayo. Add uni or caviar to dress them up for the holidays.
- Caviar service: served with potato chips and crème fraîche, in snack, feast or party sizes.

How to plan your party
- Pick your date early. December weekends fill first. Book at least a week ahead, and earlier for December weekends.
- Choose dine-in or catering. Tell us your guest count and the vibe: seated dinner, cocktail party or raw bar happy hour.
- Share dietary needs. We'll ask about shellfish allergies up front and build the menu around your group.

How far ahead should we book? At least a week ahead. For December, earlier is better, especially for Friday and Saturday nights.
