We're inside Grand Central Market at 317 South Broadway in downtown LA.
The market is easy to pair with a downtown afternoon. Angels Flight Railway is right outside the Hill Street entrance, the Bradbury Building is across Broadway, and Pershing Square station is about a block away.
What to order
The lobster roll. Our World Famous Lobster Roll comes two ways: warm with butter and chives, or chilled with mayo, both on a toasted brioche roll. First time? Get it warm.
The caviar hot dog. Topped with caviar, house aioli and pickled shallots. It's playful, it's a little fancy and it's a Grand Central Market favorite.
Oysters and the raw bar. Pick from the chef's selection of oysters, try them baked as oysters Rockefeller, or share a scallop crudo. Bringing friends? The seafood tower and the whole chilled lobster are made for a table.
Fried and crispy. Southern-style fried oysters with Fresno aioli, fish and chips in Budweiser batter, calamari and Baja tacos. When it's in, the soft shell crab sandwich goes fast.
Something warm. New England clam chowder with Nueske's bacon, perfect on a cool downtown day.
